Job Description – Lead the Way in Industry Innovation
We are strengthening our organization with an innovative electrical engineer for our electrical department at Boliden's concentrator and underground mine in Garpenberg. We have an important mission to ensure that the processes and facilities of the operation function optimally. We also work with continuous improvements to achieve world-class production. As an electrical engineer, you will have an eventful role where you will work with the development, planning, and preventive maintenance of the electrical installation. The task includes maintaining and optimizing the availability of our power systems.
You will work with:
- Designing electrical systems in the power grid
- Electrification and energy optimization of our fixed and mobile facilities
- Troubleshooting, identifying, and providing appropriate solutions to problems
- Planning electrical maintenance work
- Coordinating function between our technical departments regarding working methods, systematic electrical safety work, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinating contacts and orders with power grid suppliers, authorities, consultants, and technical services
- Participating in projects as a technical specialist
What you bring (competence):
We look forward to working with you who like to take a holistic perspective, who are analytical, innovative, communicative, and want to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
You have education and experience as:
- Civil/University engineer or equivalent experience in power and electrical constructions with competencies in areas such as dimensioning, planning, design, and building electrical networks. It is advantageous to have an education as a power engineer.
- Worked with maintenance, preferably in the process industry, and have knowledge of how systematic maintenance should be conducted. It is an advantage if you have experience with electrical systems in mines and concentrators.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and directives regarding systematic electrical safety work
- Can communicate in Swedish and English
- A valid driver’s license
