Our Exciting Opportunity!

Ericsson Silicon develops tailor-made, high-performance solutions for present and future RAN needs. Our (ASICs) power cutting-edge System on a Chip (SoC)—a game-changer in telecommunications. With signal processors (DSPs) and accelerators, our technology enables high-performance, energy-efficient, and lightweight network solutions.

We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated ASIC Top-Level Integration Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for the top-level integration of complex ASIC designs, ensuring seamless assembly of components that meet both functional and performance requirements. You will collaborate closely with design, verification, and physical implementation teams to manage the integration process and drive successful tape-outs.

If you are an experienced integration engineer with a passion for ASIC development—from IP to system level—and thrive on shaping and driving methodologies to ensure flawless integration with a strong foundation in both RTL programming and scripting? we want to hear from you.

What you will do

•    Integrate various blocks and subsystems into a cohesive top-level ASIC design, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality across all components.

•    Ensure the top-level design meets key performance metrics, including timing, power, area, and other critical specifications.

•    Collaborate closely with RTL, verification, and physical design teams to resolve integration challenges and provide valuable design feedback.

•    Lead and support the synthesis of top-level designs, driving the achievement of timing closure across all blocks.

•    Contribute to the review and refinement of integration plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure smooth project execution.

•    Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of integration procedures, results, and any issues encountered, ensuring transparency and traceability.

Skills you bring:

•    A BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in digital ASIC design and integration.

•    Strong expertise in RTL stitching and integration, from IP to system-level SoC.

•    Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform thorough technical analysis

•    Excellent programming skills in System Verilog, VHDL, and scripting languages like Python, with experience in code repository management (Git, Perforce, Subversion).

•    Familiarity with AMBA AXI and CHI protocols, and experience in developing and implementing AMBA-based on-chip interconnects to meet performance and system requirements.

•    Good to have experience in Experience with continuous delivery and integration, DFT, synthesis, STA, UPF, or power-related design knowledge.
