Engineering Environment and Experience (EEE) is a unit within Hardware Engineering Unit (EU HW) with the exciting scope to work with EUHW Engineering environment and experience. Our mission is to provide a world class engineering environment, including tools, for our designers. Within EEE, we explore and find Engineering Environment harmonies across EU HW units and have collaboration with other units such as other EUs, EAS, SAN, EIT. We are looking for you that will bring high energy, have excellent leadership skills and an ability to make things happen. You will work in a global organization which involves multiple interfaces where collaboration and communication is key.
We are now recruiting a Developer PBA Methods & Tools.
As a developer for PBA Methods & Tools you will work in the methods and tools program focusing on PBA tool. Working with tools integration, validation, trouble shooting and developing efficient methods. You will work close with supplier and the users. Securing a efficient and stable environment. You will also face other stakeholders such as Group IT and the product life cycle management team. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the PBA toll area that include evaluating organizational needs, recommending suitable technical solutions, overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions, and providing specialized advice, guidance, and support to colleagues or clients.
What you will do
As part of the M&T program you will focus on PBA area including
• Enabling efficiency in the environment and development flow
• Support in trouble shooting of environment and SW application
• Interact with users and subject matters experts from tool supplier
• Release, integration and verification of SW application
• Provide input to required guideline, instructions, training, and tutorials
• Understand HW simulation impediments and drive opportunities for improvement
The skills you bring
• M.Sc. or Bachelor degree in relevant area or equivalent experience
• Service and support mindset
• Deep knowledge and understanding of PBA tools, vendors and portfolio
• 3-5 years of experience in PCB/PBA design, primarily in schematic design, with a solid understanding of layout as well.
• Have a mindset of explore new ways of working and challenge old ways of thinking
• Drive to seek simplification and efficiency opportunities
• Hardware development process experience
• An eager to drive discussions about the status of our PBA environment, so it will be efficient and evolved in the right direction
• High degree of flexibility and eagerness to take on challenges with a can-do attitude
• Readiness for innovation and willingness to challenge the current ways of working
• Good cultural and security awareness and good business understanding
• Solid skills in negotiations, communication, and mentoring, as well as willingness, listening skills and ability to motivate and encourage people
• Interest in AI
• Proficiency in English, oral as well as written
