About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned Head of IT Security & Compliance to join our Enterprise IT team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing strategic plans that propel our organization towards sustainable growth. Reporting to the CIO and Head of Enterprise IT, you will directly influence leadership teams, strategic initiatives, and key targets.
To excel in this role, you will need a solid technical foundation in IT security, coupled with strategic vision and business insight. You can communicate complex technical topics clearly and engagingly to both technical teams and executive leadership. As an analytical and solution-oriented leader, you will build trust, drive change, and instill a security culture throughout the organization. We seek a curious individual who constantly updates their knowledge and balances operational demands with long-term strategic goals.
What you will do
• Lead the strategic planning and execution of information security governance, risk management, and compliance to align with Ericsson's strategic and operational goals, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks to effectively manage and mitigate key risks.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and policies.
• Ensure adherence to processes, laws, and regulations to contribute to a secure, stable, and compliant IT environment.
• Manage and oversee the compliance team concerning key ISO standards.
• Drive Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives across Enterprise IT.
• Implement and enforce adherence to the IT Security Policy and directives across all IT environments.
• Cultivate a "Security First" mindset within the IT organization.
The skills you bring
• Strong business acumen to understand security's impact on operations and contribute to business objectives.
• Extensive experience as a senior leader in a multi-stakeholder environment, and with commitment to integrity and setting high standards of behaviour
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and applications.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, etc.
• Expertise in regulations and compliance, including GDPR, NIS2, etc., with practical implementation skills.
• Knowledge of cryptography, authentication, access control, and other security principles.
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical acumen under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Security clearance as required.
