About The Opportunity
As a System Verification Engineer within RAN Performance the responsibility is to ensure that the quality and functionality of 5G RAN SW fulfills our customer expectations.
Our team in Kista is now looking for a software developer with a strong interest in verification, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). We work in a true end-to-end environment with real UE’s and real Core, enabling a very broad view of the complete system in a customer like setup.
If you are a motivated, technical developer that wants to work at the front-end of 5G development, then this is the right opportunity for you.
What You Will Do
• Test upcoming Ericsson 5G products/features in close cooperation with the SW design teams
• Execute tests in real end to end environment using a real core network and real user equipment (mobiles and modules) including advanced tools like traffic generators and channel emulators etc.
• Characterize feature performance gain by analyzing collected test logs
• Develop test plans, perform data analysis, review test results, write test report
• Develop and maintain automated test cases
• Support investigation and troubleshooting of customer issues
The Skills You Bring
• Curiosity and Passion to learn new technologies.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Passion to work with problem solving and troubleshooting
• IP networking and cloud.
• Ability to develop and maintain code in Java, Python and/or other programing languages
• Effective communication and English skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work in an agile team, while being self-driven to work individually, as required
• Knowledge of wireless communication system is a merit.
• Knowledge in AI and machine learning is a merit
