About this opportunity:
We are on a mission to ensure Ericsson is making the best use of data (both network data and internal data) as possible. Right now, we're seeking one new colleague focusing on data engineering to continue our exciting journey ahead.
You will join the Data and Artificial Intelligence Foundation team in EEE organization. Our mission is to enable our production applications with data and AI. We empower people and machines with insights based on large amounts of data from development environments, labs, and Ericsson products in live customer’s networks.
The area of data and AI is constantly evolving, and you will be working with pioneering commercial and open source tools to accomplish our mission.
We are actively seeking the next wave of tech talent through our NextGen graduate initiative in Stockholm. This opportunity is for recent graduates with 0-3 years of experience who are eager to launch a meaningful career in technology. What you will do:
In this role, you will join our group of skilled software engineers and data engineers.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work in a team to enable usage of data within Ericsson
- Ensure that the data is securely ingested to the data lake
- Prepare, transform, enrich and improve quality of the data to make it available for consumption
- Work closely with data consumers and make sure that their specific data needs are met
- Provide valuable and concrete insights using data and/or graphical user interfaces
In addition, we believe you have:
- BSc level (MSc preferred) in Computer Science, Information technology, Tele communication or equivalent
- Knowledge and ideally some hands-on experience in agile ways of working
- Passion for data engineering, problem solving and data analytics. You love to discuss and are comfortable about sharing knowledge
- Understanding within any of the following programming languages: Python preferred, SQL, Java, Scala, etc.
- Understanding in:
- Hands-on ETL tools: Pandas, Spark/PySpark, Flink
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Container, Helm, Linux
- Message Bus: Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Pipeline and Flow Management: Argo, Airflow, Jenkins is a merit
- Data Lake Storage such as ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Minio S3, MongoDB
- Databases: MySQL, Postgres
- Data Visualisation Tools such as: Kibana, Grafana
- Experience with big data technologies and architecture
- Proven experience with Development environments such as GIT, Gerrit and Jira
- Knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, IT and information security and UX/UI
- Frontend design in NodeJS and ReactJS are also considered as merits
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
